Dreams

Beneath silky soft serene eyes

Dreams like white wishful clouds

Float unabated

With a gush of

An unselfish breeze

They go on to embrace

A dry lonely desolate rock

So they can quench

Her everlasting thirst

While softly spilling

Down her furrowed cheeks

Like a long journey

To empty themselves

Into a sea of love

From where they would

Then travel

Amongst those mystic waters

To a lonely heart’s

Boundless ocean

Only to be picked up

By the glowing

Golden rays of a glorious Sun

That would draw them

With such intensity

Into its bosom

To rearrange those dreams

Like pearls

Back on those white clouds

And refill them

With soaring aspirations

In the hope

That this cycle would continue

Like a musical gypsy procession

Touching the pulse

Of those joyful moments

So someday maybe

They could tickle

The free nomadic spirit

And immortalize

A forgotten love
